J&B Software to Showcase Remote Deposit Capture and Electronic Clearing at Annual AFP Conference
Blue Bell, PA – September 29, 2008 (AllPayNews.com) – J&B Software, Inc., a premier provider of enterprise-wide transaction, document management and payment system solutions, will be exhibiting at the upcoming 2008 Association of Financial Professionals (AFP) Annual Conference in Los Angeles from October 19-22, 2008.
J&B Software will be located in Exhibit Booth #1407 and will be highlighting its web-based Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) solution as well as its Electronic Clearing Suite (ECS) of solutions for ARC and Check 21.
J&B’s eCapture RDC solution captures document images at remote or branch locations using a variety of different capture devices. Devices include traditional check scanners, TWAIN flatbed scanners, mobile phones, and full page/check scanning units. All of these capture devices are integrated into the J&B core payment processing solution and can be interfaced directly into a client’s existing host financial solution, like SAP and Oracle, to provide real-time information.
J&B customers have realized tremendous financial benefits due to improved float time, the elimination of many manual paper-handling operations and the associated infrastructure expenses that are inherent in this process.
The J&B Electronic Clearing Suite (ECS) is an integrated part of the total J&B suite of solutions that allows for the clearing of both electronic and paper checks via ACH and Image Exchange networks. This solution has the capability to consolidate multiple payment channels like ARC, WEB, TEL, BOC, POP, and Check 21 into a single clearing mechanism that can automatically select the most efficient clearing vehicle for each check at the item level based on the client’s business requirements.
“The AFP Conference is a very strategic industry event for both J&B and our customers and we are expecting a large majority of our customers to participate again this year,” said Jim Wynn, Director of Marketing for J&B Software. “We are excited about the opportunity to show the industry many of the solution advances we have created in the Remote Deposit Capture and Electronic Clearing space and how we believe we are leading the industry with our web-based architecture and solution innovations,” adds Wynn.
Touted as “the most important event for treasury and finance”, the 2008 AFP Conference will again deliver original and unbiased educational sessions for all attendees and provide the audience with a renowned speaker lineup as well as many diverse networking events. This year’s event will include over 150 industry related sessions, more than 250 exhibitors, and world famous keynote speakers such as Magic Johnson, Ron Insana, and Dee Dee Myers.
